Thank you for visiting Gaia Grove Publishing. Our intention is to produce, publish, and perform inspirational art, poetry and song. Our first project is focused on Songs of Love, a series of nine books with poetry by Nicholas Michael Morrow and illustrations by Willow Arlenea. The first book, Songs to the Beloved and Her Lovers is available now. The Songs of Love offer and inspired journey for love, lover and beloved.

The circle of wondrous beings that gather in the embrace of Gaia Grove continuous to grow. The following offers an introduction to and a welcome from some of us.

As a drop in the river is one
with the oceans of life,
in union with the beloved,
and connected to the totality of earth,
so does Gaia Grove
embrace us all.

The following are two poems about the grove, taken from Songs to the Beloved and Her Lovers.

The Sacred Grove

We dance in the grove
spinning with delight,
arms open to the sky,
primed for flight.

We trade our identity
for that of a mountain
covered with tall pines
singing in the breeze.

Your breath touches my cheeks
and we kindle the fire,
filling the earth with warmth.

I love you

Echoes from stone cliffs
and sings with the rain,
giving birth to eternity.

When we touch
magic permeates the air,
making love-mischief
wherever we go.

You are the sacred twin
I came to find
and our meeting unites worlds.

Here, in the sacred grove
we build the temple
and light candles
for the celebration.

Poet and Muse

An old man
with gray beard and long white hair
lives in a grove of tall trees
cradled in the arms
of majestic mountains,
backbone of the earth,
constellation of the heart—
a universe of love.

An old woman
lives on a side of the mountain
with the old man
and they tend a garden
of wonder and delight,
activating earth’s crystal core,
sustaining the universe
with hope and compassion.

The man is a poet,
the woman, a muse,
and they dream the beloved
into their chamber of love,
warming her with words of light
and hearts of fire.
