Path of Love

 We come to the path of love
without a map for our minds,
where doors to the halls of glory
are crafted from the story of man.

 We know that everything
these senses perceive
is the substance of reality,
and where our souls go
is beyond this,
revealed in ancient language.

The path of love has a jewel
at the end of a rainbow,
yet every lover’s heart knows
being on the path is the ecstasy
spiraling within the jewel.

 The moment our lips meet,
our bodies become humble servants
of the beloved,
moving with tides of passion,
activating worlds.

 We cultivate union,
breathing through our intimacy
in harmony with celestial spheres,
in the dawn of eternal spring.

 The path of love is infinite
because the beloved travels there,
waking poetry in our hearts
and calling us to celebration,
shattering time
and any hope of return.

 

 

 

Smile and Nod

 We grow old in human forms
through many incarnations,
mellowing our intention
and need for perfection.

 We no longer seek success and fame,
or place our attention on fear,
abundant in our world;
rather, we tune to the
beloved’s celestial harp
and infinite wisdom.

 We smile and nod
with everyone coming for council;
our life is a sparkle,
our presence
a catalyst for love.

 This death, this birth,
leaves us naked and free —
like a mirror,
empty and innocent.

 

  

Portal of Initiation

 We recognize each other as children,
our hearts open to love
in the innocence
and excitement of life.

 Knowing bears the eternal
and our willingness
keeps the fires burning,
warming the earth
with imagination.

 We own an assortment of clothes
for many occasions
yet dress in primordial rags
that are thin and transparent.

 Our geometry opens a divine matrix,
creating a portal of initiation
for enlightened souls.

 We are the wisdom keepers
here to witness the awakening,
remembering the temple of love.
